Volunteer Mentor

Are you good at getting the best out of young people?

As a volunteer mentor you would motivate and support 11 to 16 year olds who are failing in school and struggling in life in Surrey.If you are a good listener, have time for teenagers and can earn their respect then this role is for you!

Full training is provided for this role (it is essential you complete)

Date: Wednesday 19th and 26th August 2020
Time: 4.00pm – 7.30pm 
Place: Imber Court, Ember Lane, East Molesey  KT8 0BT
Places must be pre-booked and you need to attend both sessions


Sense of humour and common sense. 


Able to communicate effectively with young people.

Has some knowledge of current issues relating to young people

    We are hoping to resume our training as soon as we are able. We are doing some on line and zoom training in the meantime. All of our mentoring at the moment is done via the telephone, What’s App (either call or video) or Zoom.
