The Hockey Museum needs a person to
support the curatorial team in the administration work. The role requires the person to:
use a word processing package such as Microsoft Word
deal with email enquiries, using an email system (e.g. Microsoft Outlook)
photocopy/print various documents, sometimes on behalf of other colleagues
organise and store paperwork, documents and computer-based information
create and maintain filing and other office systems
keep diaries and arrange appointments
schedule and attend meetings, create agendas and take minutes
liaise with staff, volunteers and with external contacts
Patience and attention to detail.
Organisational and administrative skills – filing, document management, maintaining records.
Willingness to learn new skills and adhere to procedures.
Good general health (can lift/handle items in the collection).
Strong inter-personal and intra-personal skills.
Attention to detail.
Time management skills.
