Volunteers needed for networking and online work for Sunderland Literacy Aid
Volunteers needed for networking on behalf of Sunderland Literacy Aid at different local events, as well as reaching out to different parties in order to start partnerships with.
Volunteers at Sunderland Literacy Aid are considered colleagues who are investing their time, effort and know-how to help progress our cause.
1. Supporting communication/networking tasks at various local events that have to do with literacy,
creative writing, schools, education, book festivals etc.
2. Reaching out (only via email - SLA email with your name will be provided) to a number of individuals and institutions we wish to start partnerships with.
You also have the chance of becoming a permanent member of SLA, within the board of trustees, if your commitment is that of long term and you show the ability to get things done.
No mandatory skills needed. A face to face meeting will suffice to decide if we are interested in a collaboration or not. The work we require of our volunteers is usually pretty straight forward. You only have to want to commit.
