The
London Marathon is an iconic marathon event taking place every year for the
past 41 years. 40,000 runners in total take on the challenge. In 2022, the
British Heart Foundation (BHF) is proud to be London Marathon’s Charity of the
Year. As a result, we anticipate over 1,500 runners taking part for the BHF and
we need your support to cheer them on at our 10 cheer zones along the London
Marathon route as well as providing pre and post event support. As a Charity of
the Year volunteer, there will be a whole host of incredible opportunities
available to you. Join the thousands cheering on runners at the Cutty Sark,
check in at the famous Tower Bridge crossing or join us on the prestigious
streets of Westminster. To ensure you have the ultimate London Marathon
experience, you will also have the chance to volunteer at two iconic locations
en route. Your support will show runners how much we appreciate their efforts
and motivate them to the finish line.
The London Marathon takes place Sunday 2nd October 2022. Volunteering roles to be confirmed.
