Information Gatherer/Researcher

We are the official Department for Education parent forum supporting families of children and young people with Special Educational Needs & Disabilities (SEND) within the London Borough of Havering.

All of us within the group have a child or young person with SEND and our lives are extremely busy yet we gives our time as we are determined to maximise the opportunities given to our children. We also want to make life easier for our families by given them the knowledge to support their children and in other to achieve that we are looking for people who are naturally curios and hood at finding out information.

Typically you would be given something and asked to find out as much about it as you can. Your findings would then need to be typed into an easy to read text that anyone can understand, ready for posting onto our website or emailing to families.Our work hours are 9:30am - 3pm Monday to Thursday and you would be expected to work at least 1 day per week on a flexible basis either at home or in the office. If working from home, you will be required to visit the office at least one morning/afternoon per week.

This role cover a huge range of subjects - one day you may be finding out about a local club, the next you will be looking into the criteria for applying for benefits.
