Awards Advisory Group Member (HVC-944)

Over 200 adult volunteers currently support Scouting in Hornchurch, but there is so much more we could do and we have some additional roles that we could do with some help with. We support local Scouting in 17 distinct Scout Groups across Ardleigh Green, Corbets Tey, Cranham, Elm Park, Emerson Park, Hornchurch, Rainham, & Upminster with over 1,600 members. After the recent pandemic we have bounced back with amazing resilience, but we also have ambitions to do even more. Future generations of young people and adults need our help and support to give them skills for life and with your help we can do just that! 

This volunteering role requires a termly commitment and involves the following tasks:

. Consider nominations of adult volunteers who deserve some form of recognition
. Discuss with fellow AAG members what (if any) recognition individuals should be put forward for
. Help to prepare nominations for adults who deserve recognition via the national honours system
