An opportunity has arisen to work with the Volunteer Co-ordinator and other volunteers, promoting the various opportunities available on the Volunteer Essex database to the general public.
The role would involve liaising directly with the general public and working in partnership with other organisations with regard to available volunteering opportunities.
We are looking for a friendly outgoing volunteer with excellent communication skills, who is capable of working on their own initiative, as well as part of a team. This is a varied and interesting opportunity, providing support to the Volunteer Centre Co-ordinator.
Duties may also include:
Maintaining up to date records of enquiries and current volunteer roles.
Making contact with local voluntary and community groups by e-mail or telephone.
Monitoring feedback from service users.
Volunteers must be confident when dealing with members of the public, adhering fully to the RRAVS confidentiality policy.

Full training and support will be provided.
Good basic knowledge of computers would be an advantage but is not a necessity.
