Supporting adult learners in the classroom in a wide range of subjects

You will be supporting adult learners in a small group setting or on a one to one basis.

Volunteers will give regular feedback to the Learning Support Co-ordinator, follow instructions and guidelines given by the tutor and seek help and advice as necessary. Feedback relevant information relating to the students learning and progress to the tutor. Help motivate students and encourage their participation, assist with meeting individual needs

Skills

Desirable for those wishing to become a volunteer to have English and Maths at Level 2

Once you are allocated a class you would need to commit to attending on a regular basis. The classes are usually 2 hours and run term time only.
