It costs over £4 million each year to provide St Clare Hospice’s vital services to people with life limiting illnesses. With limited NHS funding, we need to fundraise for most of this.
We have accumulated a large
amount of paper based information about donations made in previous financial
years. We do not have a lot of space at the hospice and with your help we could
transfer these records onto our electronic database. Ultimately you will also
help us provide a better service to our donors because all our donation
information will be on our database rather than some information on paper and
• Basic literacy to read the information on the record envelopes, and enter it into the computer system.
• Confident and competent using a computer to be able to learn the basics of navigating the Raisers Edge database.
• Attention to detail – it’s important that the information is entered with 100% accuracy.
• A small amount of problem solving skills will be needed if, for instance, paper gets jammed in the scanner, or an error message appears. Need to be able to calmly reach a solution, and / or ask for help where needed.
The process is repetitive so you need to be content completing reoccurring tasks.Register your interest
