Forest School Volunteer Assistant

Thurrock INSPIRE plan to develop a new initiative, FOREST SCHOOL at Grangewaters Outdoor Education Centre in June this year. The aim of Forest School is to provide young people with an opportunity to experience the natural world first hand by taking part in a range of different activities in a woodland setting. Volunteers would work alongside INSPIRE staff and would be free to develop any activities that play to their own strengths and that support the Forest school programme. The programme will be flexible and will reflect the interests of the young people involved.

Experience of working with young people outside of the classroom. An interest in working in an outdoor environment and the natural world. Camp Craft and outdoor cooking. The ability to work alongside young people and support their engagement in a range of practical activities.
