Drivers - Urgent Response Volunteers

Do you live in one of these areas - Clacton/Harwich/Brightlingsea/Manningtree and surrounding villages?

We are expanding our team of volunteers who are willing to drive for us in urgent situations - from severe weather conditions to major incidents and, of course, pandemics.

Please note: No emergency response skills are expected.

Driving volunteers will support local communities in whatever way we can:

-by collecting and delivering supplies.

-collecting and delivering prescription medications.

-driving other volunteers if needed.

-any other transport tasks for the duration of their shift.

This is not a regular commitment - volunteer drivers will only be called upon in an emergency situation affecting their area.

This is a great opportunity to become part of the wider, established, very friendly CVST volunteer team. And to support your community when they need it most.
