With support and supervision you will assist the MindOut Business Development manager (BDM) to enable the smooth running of our fundraising and communications, working alongside and as part of a cooperative team.
You will be a point of contact for enquiries from supporters, donors, partners and other key contacts, by telephone, post, and email. You will also assist in maintaining MindOut’s donor customer relationship management system
Donorfy, and our donor stewardship process through effective and smooth operational systems.
You will help arrange and service meetings and events including: compiling agendas, organising venues and speakers, prepare, collate and photocopying papers, taking minutes and monitoring follow up actions.
You will also help organise and manage all fundraising and challenge events including MindOut for the Laughs, The Grand Brighton Half marathon and Brighton marathon.
We need a volunteer for approx 5-8 hours per week (preferably on a Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday to coincide with the BDM's work pattern) and this is flexible.
• Have some IT and social media skills
must be enthusiastic and willing to use own initiative.
• Have some knowledge and understanding of mental health issues.
• Work to MindOut’s values and mission.
